1. Use of Service

Free Invoice Generator provides a free, browser-based tool for creating invoices. You are free to use this service for personal or commercial purposes. Since this is a free tool, there are no service level agreements (SLAs) or uptime guarantees.

2. Privacy & Data Architecture

We built this tool to be private by default. It is a client-side application, meaning:

• We do not store your invoice data on any server.
• We do not have access to the personal information or client details you enter.
• All calculations and PDF generation happen directly in your browser.

3. Browser Storage & Data Loss

This application uses your browser's Local Storage and IndexedDB to save your progress. Important: If you clear your browser cache, switch devices, or use Incognito mode, your saved data will be lost. You are solely responsible for downloading (backing up) your invoices as PDF files.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the generated invoices comply with the specific tax laws of your jurisdiction (e.g., GST, VAT, Sales Tax rules). You verify all documents before sending them to clients.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Free Invoice Generator or its creator (Sujit Mali) be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the service.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via a notification banner on our website. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
